Policy Statement

Architra aims to invest in the design, implementation and management of sustainable programmes and processes; and are committed to understanding, monitoring and managing the impact of these social, environmental and economic programmes to enable us to contribute to the larger goals of sustainable development.

This commitment is deeply ingrained in our core values and we aim to demonstrate these responsibilities through our actions and within our corporate policies.

In order to realise the needed impact of our CSR, we have developed various programme themes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which we prefer to call the pillars of our CSR interventions:

Pillar 3 - Good Health and Well-being.
Pillar 2 - Quality Education.
Pillar 1 - Sustainable Life Under Water.

Policy Interventions

Protect Life Under Water

Architra believes in the protection of nature and natural resources in line with Goal 14 of the SDG. Nature protection is an integral part of the holistic development process.

It is for this reason that we are determined to make our people and communities realise the need to treat the natural habitats under water with a purpose of urgency.

Good Health & Wellbeing

To complement our efforts to ensure the delivery of the tools to help solve community problems, is the promotion of healthy lives and well-being for all.

This effort is equally critical to sustainable development in ensuring life expectancy is increased to realise the full impact of the benefits of the broader corporate social investments.

This is also inline with Goal 3 of the SDG; “ ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”

Quality Education

Architra believes access to inclusive quality education is the needed foundation to create sustainable development.

We believe this is the basis for the tools our communities require to develop innovative solutions to all challenges.

It is for this reason that Architra will invest in access to quality education at all levels and help increase enrolment rates in schools particularly for women and girls.

Our Policy is also inline with Goal 4 of the SDG.
